Vanguard Home Designs Moves to New Manhattan, Kansas Location
November 21, 2013 MANHATTAN, KANSAS – Vanguard Home Designs recently moved to a larger location in Manhattan, Kansas near Westloop shopping center. Vanguard hosted a ribbon cutting at their new office location at 1115 Westport Drive on November 1, 2013 to kick off the expansion.
“We are excited about the advantages of moving into this new facility will provide. This larger northeast Kansas location will better help us meet our client’s needs,” said Jim Hund, President of Vanguard Home Designs, LLC. “Our experience has shown us that the greater Manhattan community is one that values small businesses and exceptional service. We look forward to growing with this great community at our new location.”

Many clients, friends, family, business owners, and other pillars of the community were in attendance to show their support, including Mayor John Matta. “The big thing is [Vanguard] does a lot with energy efficiency,” the Mayor said. “It’s big in today’s age, with rising utility costs, to make houses sustainable.”

As the comically large ceremonial scissors were presented, Lyle Butler, President of Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, provided additional confirmation to the Forbes ranking saying, “It’s always an exciting day when we have a local business starting up…we’re seeing more and more local businesses growing and expanding [in Manhattan].”

With this new convenient location we are now able to attract and manage a greater number of home improvement projects in a larger service territory to include cities such as Junction City, Wamego, and Ogden, in addition to Manhattan, KS.”
